Sustainability
Durable packaging, stated carefully
This page describes what SPC packaging is designed to do and what has to be validated per application. It does not make environmental superiority claims. Where evidence exists for a specific product, it is shared per project.
Our position
Packaging performance is a sustainability question only when it is measured: fewer damaged goods, more trips per box, a defined end-of-life route. We talk about those things in terms of design intent and per-application validation, not slogans.
What SPC packaging is designed for
Four design objectives, each confirmed on samples and trial orders in your conditions.
- 01
Material efficiency
Hollow board places material in two thin skins and internal ribs, so a box is built from a light sheet rather than a solid panel. Board build is specified per application.
- 02
Durability
Mineral-filled composite board is developed for moisture, repeated handling and stacking, so the box is designed to survive the route it is built for.
- 03
Multi-trip use
Structures can be developed for repeated turnover between packer, distributor and retailer. Reuse performance is validated per application.
- 04
Damage reduction
Where a trial shows fewer damaged goods than the current packaging, that result belongs to that product and route. It is reported per project, not generalised.
Designed for multi-trip use
Packaging designed for multi-trip use; reuse performance validated per application. Reuse depends on the product, the handling chain and the cleaning and return logistics you operate.
What we validate on samples and trial orders
- Stacking behaviour after repeated loading
- Hand holes, lids and folds after repeated use
- Moisture and wet handling over multiple trips
- Print durability where identification must last
- Fit of dividers and pads after repeated packing
Recovery and recycling pathway
SPC is a mineral-filled polymer composite. Recovery and recycling pathways depend on product formulation and local collection and reprocessing infrastructure.
We do not describe SPC as a single-material system, and we do not publish recyclability percentages. For a specific product, the end-of-life route is discussed as part of the project, together with the collection and reprocessing options available where the packaging is used.
What this page does not claim
Statements that need product-specific evidence do not appear on this website until that evidence is approved.
- Environmental superiority over other packaging
- Recyclability, reuse or reduction percentages
- Carbon or climate figures
- Compliance or certification of any kind
- How long packed goods keep
Frequently asked questions
- Is SPC packaging recyclable?
- SPC is a mineral-filled polymer composite. Recovery and recycling pathways depend on product formulation and local collection and reprocessing infrastructure. We discuss the route for a specific product as part of the project.
- How many trips can a box make?
- That is validated per application on samples and trial orders. We do not publish a general trip count.
- Do you have environmental data or certificates?
- Where test results exist for a specific product they are shared per project. Nothing is published here without approved evidence.
Validate it on your route
Send your current packaging and how it moves. Reuse and durability are confirmed on samples, not on this page.
